AHP Recognized in 2016 ‘Chambers Asia Pacific’ and ‘Legal500’ Rankings

Assegaf Hamzah & Partners’ status as a top-tier Indonesian law firm has been reaffirmed by the 2016 Indonesia law firm rankings published by Chambers Asia Pacific earlier this month, which lists AHP as a Band 1 firm in Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, General Corporate/M&A, and Disputes, and ranks or recommends the firm in five other practice areas (Projects & Energy, Employment, Real Estate, Telecommunications and Intellectual Property).

In addition, the following AHP partners are commended: Managing Partner Fikri Assegaf (Banking & Finance, Corporate/M&A, Capital Markets and Projects), Co-managing Partner Bono Adji (Capital Markets and Corporate/M&A), Disputes Partners Eri Hertiawan and Chandra Hamzah, Employment Partner Ahmad Maulana, M&A Partner Eko Basyuni, Banking & Finance Partners Ibrahim Assegaf and Yanu Wiriasmoko, and Capital Markets Partner Putu Suryastuti.

Chambers Asia Pacific, which is published annually by London-based Chambers & Partners, ranks leading law firms in the Asia Pacific Region based on feedback from their clients, work highlights and peer reviews.
Chambers & Partners also announced recently that AHP has been shortlisted for the Indonesia Law Firm of the Year award at the Chambers Asia Pacific Awards 2016, which will be presented during a ceremony and dinner at The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore on Friday, April 8. The last time AHP took this prestigious award was in 2014.

AHP’s showing in the Chambers Asia Pacific rankings comes on the back of an equally encouraging performance in the highly regarded Legal500 rankings for 2016, which were released at the end of 2015. This year’s Legal500 rankings see AHP listed as a Tier 1 firm in Aviation, Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate M&A and Dispute Resolution, and as a ranked firm in Projects & Energy, Real Estate, Restructuring & Insolvency, Shipping and Tax.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients who participated in the Chambers Asia Pacific and Legal500 client interview process. Without your support, our success in these prestigious publications would not be possible.
