AHP advises the Joint Lead Managers on Indonesia’s first combined CNH–EUR dual‑currency SEC‑registered global bonds issuance

Assegaf Hamzah & Partners is pleased to have acted as Indonesian counsel to Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Deutsche Bank, and HSBC as the Joint Lead Managers in connection with the Republic of Indonesia’s groundbreaking dual-currency SEC-registered global bonds issuance, marking the first combination of CNH and EUR under Indonesia’s SEC-registered format.

The issuance comprises a total of CNH9.25 billion across three tranches and EUR2.70 billion across three tranches, reflecting strong investor appetite for Indonesia’s sovereign instruments.

This landmark transaction underscores Indonesia’s innovative sovereign financing strategy and its continued ability to tap diverse global liquidity pools, attracting strong demand from international investors.
