Assegaf Hamzah & Partners (AHP) is proud to have acted as the sole legal counsel to SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP) in its strategic acquisition of 100% stake of PT Prokemas Adhikari Kreasi (MYPAK), a leading fibre-based packaging manufacturer in Indonesia.

The transaction was completed on 9 December 2025.The acquisition was executed through TCG Solutions Pte. Ltd. (TCGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Thai Containers Group Company Limited (TCG), a 70:30 joint venture between SCGP and Japan’s Rengo Company Limited, and Siam Kraft Industry Co., Ltd. (SKIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of SCGP. Following completion of the acquisition, TCGS and SKIC hold MYPAK shares in a 60:40 ratio.
