Yoga Baskara Yogyandi

Yoga started at AHP as a junior associate in 2018 as an associate. Prior to joining AHP, he served as an associate in another premier Jakarta law firm.

Yoga has been a member of the firm's Employment and Disputes Practice Group since joining the firm. He has gained considerable experience across a broad range of litigation and arbitration matters. He also frequently advises on both contentious and non-contentious aspect of employment issues.

Commercial Dispute

  • Representing a multinational mining company as an intervention claimant (interested third party dealing with the disputing parties (tussenkomst) in a civil dispute between to local companies.
  • Representing an individual in his capacity as a shareholder and member of Board of Commissioners ("BoC") as a defendant in a civil dispute with the company in which he become the shareholder and member of BoC.
  • Representing a multinational bitumen manufacturer company as a defendant in a civil dispute against its customers.
  • Representing an Indonesian IT Company as a respondent in an arbitration proceeding at Badan Arbitrase Nasional (BANI) against a public service agency in Indonesia.
     

Bankruptcy and Insolvency

  • Representing Germany based-bank as a creditor in a suspension of debt payment proceedings of PT Bumi Resources, Tbk.
  • Representing a United Arab Emirates based-bank in a suspension of debt payment proceedings of PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup.
     

Employment

  • Advising a multinational oil and gas company on several employment issues, including, mass termination and pension fund.
  • Advising a Japan based-bank on several employment matters, including termination of an employee.
  • Representing a subsidiary company of an Australian engineering and construction company in an industrial relation dispute with its former employee in Industrial Relation Court of Jakarta.
  • Representing PT Harpindo Mitra Kharisma in an industrial relation dispute with its former employee in Industrial Relation Court of Jakarta.
  • Advising an Indonesian subsidiary of British Standard Institution on potential dispute with its labour union.
  • Assisting PT Indo Premier Sekuritas in reviewing company regulation, employmee handbook and employment agreement.
  • Assisting an Indonesian subsidiary of a British media company in implementing its propose termination of several employees.
